Weather Resources for the Colorado River


Remember it is always better to prepare for changes in the weather.
(example: Bring a fleece jacket and rain jacket just in case, especially early and late season, May or Sept.)

In Colorado if you do not like the weather just wait ten minutes and it will change.

It is always good to allow a couple of extra minutes for traffic.  Plus there is a great coffee shop across the street from our shop.  It is called "Big Shooter Coffee", tell them we sent you.
Weather Resources for Clear Creek


Remember that is always better to prepare for changes in the weather.(example: It is always nice to change into clean dry clothes after getting soaked on a raft trip.  Wetsuits are recommended for Clear Creek trips and are available at the Clear Creek boat house.)

It is always good to allow a couple extra minutes for traffic.  Plus there is a Conoco gas station next to our shop that normally has gas that is a few cents cheaper than in the high country.

Adventures In Whitewater operates under special use permits with the Colorado State Parks, Bureau of Land Management(BLM Kremmling office), and Clear Creek County. All or part of this operation is conducted on Public Lands under special permit from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.
